My story
I founded Velocity Maple Vermont, LLC., with a simple mission: “Make technology easy to understand and simple to use helping drive value and growth for business executives.”I’ve found that by infusing energy and passion into every meeting and interaction builds trust and empowers candid productive discussions. What was lacking in my career growth was the opportunity to engage in those talks often constrained by title or role definitions.
Velocity Maple values-based approach to partnering with customers with transparent rates and shared project metrics and goals. Strategic and digital consulting for roadmap and project management driving value and reducing the risk index for every stakeholder and partner within the integrated supply chain.
Teamwork and shared success ethos stems from NCAA athletic career and continues through my role as consulting, advisory roles and board of directors positions.
I started my professional career 20 years ago as a counselor for the State of Vermont Woodside Juvenile Detention Center and continue to engage and advocate for equity in higher education and professional advancement. I graduated from Babson College with a BS in Entrepreneurship awarded The Leadership of Diversity scholarship. I was an NCAA DIII athlete in lacrosse and basketball until a concussion ended my collegiate career my junior year.
I went on to become a public speaker partnering with professional athletes from the NFL, NHL, WWE, NBA and the leading neurosurgeons in the world. I presented the first ever coaches concussion clinic training with the Sports Legacy Institute which is now the Boston University’s Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) Center.
I welcome every opportunity to present, meet, advise, mentor and partner with executives, students and organizations to further develop talent and expand their diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives.
